The Bride Christmas Gift Guide

Are you starting the mad dash to buy your Christmas presents? It can be difficult to buy for friends who seem to have everything and for others who seem to be difficult to please. If you are buying for a friends who is exchanging her vows in the new year then  I have a few suggestions up my sleeve. Keep reading for several Christmas goodies with a bridal twist.

The High Street Bride

If your friend feels lost and wants some guidance on how to plan her day then you can't go wrong with this fabulous book by our resident guru Samantha Birch. This book is full of lots of gems of knowledge from insider tips to unique ideas that are guaranteed to come in handy.

Restoration Cakes : "Burlesque Baking"

Do you have a friend who is thinking of having a DIY wedding? or are they a keen baker that is considering making their own wedding cake? Charlotte White at Restoration Cakes is a baking goddess who has penned two incredible baking books. These recipes will make your mouth water!

Vintage Photo Shoot

I would love the opportunity to get together with my girlfriends to take part in one of these vintage inspired photoshoots. If you are thinking of treating your best friend (and yourself!) then a day of being pampered and posing is great practice for the big event itself. I also think that this would be a great day-time hen party activity that could be organised as a surprise. One of my favourite vintage photography companies is Dollhouse Photography; their photos looks A-mazing"

Planner/organiser

If your bride-to-be bestie likes to keep on top of being organised then a fashionable planner from Erin Condren is a great gift idea. I adore these stunning and savvy pieces of stationery. There are plenty to choose from so you won't struggle to find a planner that matches your friend's personality and taste.

A Wedding Fragrance: Jo Malone Gift Cards

One idea that I came across when watching the BridedeForce Youtube videos is a fragrance consultation with the professional parfumiers at Jo Malone. The helpful staff are able to help you create your own signature sent for your big day. Whether you are wanting to include fragrances that remind you of your favourite holiday destination or hues that remind you of your first date, the team will strive to meet your request. Fragrance consultations are free but it might be a nice idea to get your friend a gift card and arrange to spend an afternoon after the Christmas period choosing the perfect wedding fragrance.

Photobook

Has your friend recently got married?  If you were a guest who managed to take some great photographs during the day then you could always get creative and have these printed in a photobook. Although many people hire photographers on their wedding day guests can often capture some of the hidden more intimate moments of the celebrations. If you are looking for a reasonably priced retailer than Asda is a great option that won't break the bank.

Magazine Subscription

If your BFF is permanently clutching her favourite magazine then save her the hassle of queuing up to buy her new copy at the supermarket - treat her with a magazine subscription. This is a simple yet thoughtful gift idea which keeps on giving as every month she will have a new issue to look forward too. Subscriptions often come with some pretty fantastic freebies too for example beauty products so keep your eyes peeled for the best deals.  Examples to choose from include Brides, You and Your Wedding and Perfect Wedding.
