Stockist Spotlight: Bubblegum Balloons

Please introduce yourself to my readers – who are you and what do you do?
We are Bubblegum Balloons, Sally, Laura, and Meg and we spend our time making balloons awesome! We create the wow factor at events, weddings and parties with balloons of all sizes, colours and displays.

When did Bubblegum Balloons get started as a business and what were the main ideas behind setting the business up?
Bubblegum Balloons launched in April 2013 and has grown from strength to strength. When we started we wanted to take something simple, a balloon, and turn it into something amazing

Why did you decide to enter the wedding industry?
We always knew they were popular amongst brides so we marketed our selves in the right places. The Wedding industry is a huge growing market and we wanted to bring some creativity and uniqueness to weddings.

Can you tell us what inspires you as a designer?
We are inspired by our clients who often want something obscure or by venues that need something unique to fit into it. There are so many like minded people out there and brides that are after something 'totally different' we like that and enjoy putting those new ideas in to our work.

Do you have any advice for brides when choosing their wedding décor?
Choose a colour palltte and go with it!

Could you share with us some of your favourite products?
What makes them your top picks? Thats a hard one! There is so much to love about all of our products, each of us has a new 'favourite' balloon every week!

Do you have any projects in the pipeline that you would like to share with us?
We are currently focussed on finding a new premises, with so many new ideas coming through we need more space!

What has been your career highlight so far?
Dressing the Pandora windows with leaves was pretty exciting and different. Seeing our balloons in the press always makes us smile!

What are you hoping to achieve in 2015?
Along with lots of new products to launch, we are looking to grow the team and be in our new premises.

Do you have any words of wisdom for anyone who is thinking of setting up their own business in the wedding industry?
Just go for it! New ideas are always welcome and there is room for lots of like minded people. Choose your products and make them the best!
